October 22—Pastor Person would like all men of Jacob's Chapel to "connect" with him on a brief Men's Prayer & Fellowship Call this Sunday, October 22nd, beginning at 8:15 p.m., after all of the football games have gone off :-). Please use the following information to join the call: (1) Dial: 712-775-7000; (2) when prompted, enter passcode: 245241. 


October 26—The church will have its second quarterly meeting of the 2017-18 district conference year with the presiding elder on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at 7 p.m. All members are encouraged to attend this important reporting meeting.


October 28—Mark your calendars for an exciting youth event we’re planning called the “Paint and Chew/Fall Festival.” Co-sponsored by the YPD and Christian Education departments, the festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 28, 2017, from 5–7 p.m. at the Jacob's Chapel ministry center, located across the street from the church building at 318 Elbo Lane, Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. Additional details are forthcoming, but start spreading the word now and inviting youth everywhere to join us.


​October 28—The Southern Burlington County NAACP has selected our very own Pastor Person to receive the Drum Major Award on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at 7 p.m., during the organization’s 7th Annual Freedom Fund Awards Gala being held at The Westin Mount Laurel. Tickets are $75 per person and are available for purchase through the NAACP. If you are interested, please contact Mr. John Piercy at 609-445-4980.


October 29—Please make plans to attend this year’s Annual Men’s Day service, scheduled for Sunday, October 29, 2017, at 3 p.m. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Charles Boyer of Bethel A.M.E. Church in Woodbury, New Jersey. Rev. Boyer will be joined by his church choir. Please spread the word and make every effort to join us for this worship experience.
